Wood Harbinger Digs In For Green Seattle Day

On Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, 1,145 people gathered together and planted more than 8,400 plants at 15 different parks around Seattle. Among the group were six intrepid Wood Harbinger souls taking up shovels and hauling compost at Warren G. Magnuson Park in support of the 13th Annual Green Seattle Day, hosted by the Green Seattle Partnership. And we had so much fun!

Volunteers at Magnuson planted oak trees, serviceberry trees, snowberry plants, and other native species, helping restore and beautify the park. Kudos to Wood Harbinger employees Shaun May, John Bourgeois, Karen Sullivan, Sara Halicki, Bob Eastman, and Bob’s daughter Victoria for spending a grey Saturday morning supporting a great cause!
