Bruce Pitts Promoted to Vice President of Commissioning and Industrial Systems

Bruce PittsWe are pleased to announce that Bruce Pitts, CPMP, CSBA, LEED AP, has been promoted to Vice President of Commissioning and Industrial Systems. See the announcement in the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce and the Puget Sound Business Journal.

With over 40 years in the industry and with Wood Harbinger, Bruce has a comprehensive leadership perspective and exceptional breadth of technical expertise. His design, project management, and commissioning experience includes central plants, aviation facilities, military installations, medical facilities, colleges and universities, and K-12 schools.

Bruce has led Wood Harbinger’s successful commissioning practice since its inception in the early 1990s. In his new role leading both commissioning and industrial systems engineering, he is excited to build new relationships with clients, strengthen the strategic business plan for the Industrial Systems group, and promote deeper cohesion and collaboration within the firm from a top-level leadership position.

The Industrial Systems group focuses on building and campus infrastructure, utilities generation and distribution systems; fuel storage and distribution; computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling; hydraulic, seismic, and stress analysis and modeling; and other specialty engineered systems serving campuses, bases, plants, and manufacturing facilities. The commissioning group provides facility analyses, peer reviews, Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR) development, LEED commissioning, design-phase construction document review, construction phase functional and performance testing, training for operations and maintenance personnel, and systems manual development.
