The Kent Events Center is a multi-purpose facility housing events such as hockey, stage shows, trade shows,
and conventions. Wood Harbinger is providing mechanical design and construction administration for this facility.
Hockey season is approaching and the construction and design teams are working diligently to finish the ice rink.
After installing the major equipment and laying the ground-level piping, concrete was poured. When the curing process
is complete, the next and final step will be the creation of the ice slab. Completion is set for December of 2008,
just in time for the much anticipated event, “Drop of the Puck”.
