Wood Harbinger provided mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems design and
construction administration for a series of waterfront structures, which support
the Hanjin Shipping Company's container freight shipping operations. These
structures include a new 15,000 SF administration building, an 8,000 SF
marine operations building, a new gate restroom building, and a 4,000 SF
expansion of the existing maintenance and repair building.
These structures support the overall redevelopment of the 88-acre site, and will
be built in phases to ensure continuous operation for Hanjin throughout the life of the facility.
A complementary project to improve the existing apron was designed and awarded concurrently
with the yard building improvements.
