Wood Harbinger provided the mechanical life cycle cost analysis/value engineering (LCCA/VE),
design, and construction administration services for this 55,000 SF facility. The facility contains
a 16,000 SF library, 22,000 SF of laboratory classrooms, and a lecture hall. The laboratory classrooms
consist of chemistry, biology, physics, oceanography, anatomy/physiology, microbiology, computer science, and electronics.
Laboratory mechanical services include laboratory hot and cold water, compressed air, vacuum, and natural gas.
Mechanical systems include HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, direct digital control (DDC) system, and
variable air volume laboratory fume hood exhaust controls.
