Wood Harbinger provided mechanical engineering services for Seattle's
new 7-story, 198,000 SF City Hall.
The building was designed as a high performance building following sustainable design
principles set by the U.S. Green Building Council, and was awarded LEED Gold certification.
Building performance software was used to model the building envelope, HVAC systems, lighting
systems, and “green” design elements.
Sustainable design elements include a displacement ventilation system, a garden roof,
and a water reclamation system that collects rainwater for toilet flushing and irrigation.
