This new, LEED Certified, 53,000 SF building houses laboratories and photo studio, 80-seat lecture
hall, administrative area, and faculty offices. There is also a commons area and classrooms.
Wood Harbinger provided mechanical, electrical, fire protection, communications engineering services,
and commissioning of the HVAC system.
HVAC systems serving laboratory areas utilize 100% outside air. A central lab/fume hood exhaust
system consists of multiple exhaust fans. Heating is provided by a gas fired hot water boiler. Cooling is
provided from a single packaged air cooled chiller.
Electrical services include service and distribution, interior lighting, packaged generator systems,
underground ductbank communications system, fire alarm and detection, and door access control.
