Wood Harbinger was challenged with researching and developing a new 4000 Ampere/480 Volt shore power
box that would provide the numerous feeder cables required for Fast Supply Ships and Nuclear Submarines
within the physical constraints of the pier. Wood Harbinger developed a new shore power box that
requires minimum maintenance, withstands forklift and crane-hook contact, and is constructed
with readily available off-the-shelf hardware.
