Wood Harbinger provided mechanical and electrical engineering for this new 18,000 SF Police
Station/City Hall. The building was designed to meet security needs while providing open
public use of the City Hall Annex. The design team worked closely with the Police Department
to develop a functional plan for the facility.
The building is heated by a hot water heating system with a gas fired hot water boiler and
distribution pumps. The facility is protected by wet pipe and dry pipe fire protection systems.
The electrical design includes main distribution and emergency distribution building power,
a fire detection system and alarm system, and a public address system. Emergency power is provided
by a diesel generator and uninterruptible power supplies for critical equipment.
