Seattle Municipal Tower Tenant Improvements

City of Seattle - Seattle, WA

Wood Harbinger provided the mechanical and electrical tenant improvements to relocate approximately 1,600 city employees to the Seattle Municipal Tower (formerly Key Tower). The Seattle Municipal Tower is a 62-story, 900,547 SF high-rise office building in downtown Seattle.

We reviewed existing drawings and evaluated existing systems for capacity, safety, code compliance, and federal energy requirements. Subsequent to the review and analysis, we designed upgrades of the mechanical and electrical systems, emergency generator systems, and fire and life safety systems. We replaced the outdated Energy Management System with a new Direct Digital Control System and also provided construction administration services.

This project is designed to the Silver level of the LEED building rating system guidelines set by the U.S. Green Building Council and adopted by the City of Seattle to provide sustainable design on all city projects. More Commissioning Projects. More Government Projects. More Sustainable Design/LEED Certification Projects.
