Savery Hall Renovation, University of Washington, Seattle, WA
Wood Harbinger provided the mechanical engineering for the project pre-design study and subsequent construction documents.
Savery Hall is an 102,000 SF, historic building that was constructed in two phases. The three story north structure was built in 1916 and the four story south addition in 1919. In this project, all of the mechanical and plumbing systems were removed and replaced. In addition, new fire sprinklers were installed throughout the building.
The program for the renovated building included computer labs, research labs, administrative offices, and classrooms.
This design is on track for LEED Gold Certification.
