Wood Harbinger is an active member in the U.S. Green Building Council, with LEED Accredited Professionals in both mechanical and electrical engineering.  We have numerous LEED certified projects branching across multiple versions of LEED and continue to maintain a current knowledge base of LEED requirements. Wood Harbinger is presently involved in such activities as LEED webinars targeting LEED Version 3 to sustain our expertise. Our goal is to continually push the sustainability envelope without sacrificing reliability, flexibility, or maintainability.

Wood Harbinger routinely performs energy and economic analysis and studies in execution of our project work.  These analyses often take the form of Value Engineering exercises, Life Cycle Cost Analyses (LCCA) for energy conservation opportunities (ECO’s) or Cost Benefit studies on major building or utility infrastructure systems.  Our analysis software tools are up-to-date and include an internally developed LCCA spreadsheet, WINLCCA and eQuest (DOE-2 Thermal energy model). For specific project types, we also utilize other software tools such as EnergyPro and Trane Trace.
